BRIGHTON CONFERENCE – 10 YEARS WORK IN EUROPE ON EARTHSHIP ADAPTION

After our first complete year living in the Brittany Groundhouse, Daren is presenting to the conference at the University of Brighton on June 19th. The event is an opportunity to review the significant steps taken by the Low Carbon Trust and other organisations in the introduction and adaptation of the earthship natural building method to the UK and Europe. It is also a chance to meet the many individuals who have contributed to the main development projects since 2000 as well as those who are building or planning their own homes. The Brittany Groundhouse featured in the 2009 series of Grand Designs, broadcast in the UK, Australia. Daren will use the time to highlight the performance of the building as well as addressing some of the many questions people raise about groundhouse construction and living experience.

I am doing a short presentation at the Seven Dials Club, 42 Earlham Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9LA on tuesday 20th April starting at 6.0pm. The event is organised by Kay Henning. It would be great to catch up with a few london based folk at the end of the event.
